3. Planning for our Annual Meeting (15 min)
a. Confirmation of date -- leading proposal is Mon Oct 27 1:30pm
[alternatives: Oct 21 am; Oct 22 early am (8:30-10?) or Thur Oct 30 anytime 9am-1:30pm]
b. Selection of location, e.g., Holyoke Public Library community room is available for afternoon of Oct 27
c. Publicity/mailing - with help of MHC students
Create a brochure about HCHL in time for same mailing?
d. Nomination/recruitment of Officers for 2004 (to be elected at Annual Meeting): President, Vice-Pres, Treasurer, and Clerk. [2003 officers are Sandra Ward, Maria Pagan, Judy Atkin, and Kathleen McDonough, respectively.] Interested?
e. Suggestions for agenda items, e.g, health literacy and how to partner with literacy efforts in Holyoke

4. Volunteers: brainstorming possibilities (15 min)
a. how best to use student volunteers, few of whom are available during our service hours?
