NCCAM conducts research and disseminates information to practitioners
and the public. Links to Information Resources include the CAM Citation
Index, a browsable, searchable subset of the MEDLINE database (1963-1999)
including 180,000+ citations.
- NIH Office of Dietary Supplements IBIDS Database

The International Bibliographic Information on Dietary Supplements
(IBIDS) is a database of published, international, scientific literature
on dietary supplements, including vitamins, minerals, and botanicals. IBIDS
is produced by the Office of Dietary Supplements (ODS) at the National
Institutes of Health to assist the public, health care providers,
educators, and researchers in locating credible, scientific information
on dietary supplements. IBIDS was developed and will be maintained through
an interagency partnership with the Food and Nutrition Information Center,
National Agricultural Library, U.S. Department of Agriculture. Citations
are currently drawn from MEDLINE (biomedical), AGRICOLA (botanical and
agricultural science), and AGRIS (agricultural science worldwide).
